My name is Ricky Jones, I am a retired Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff and Former Operations Officer. Currently I am a Board Member of Freedom HealthShare and the reason I accepted the position is really a matter of my heart.
Freedom HealthShare is a ministry of faith based like-minded folks wanting to save money to care for themselves or their family. The wonderful thing about this ministry, the members Share the costs of medical bills.
Jesus the Son of God never did anything on this earth to conform to the ways of man. He did his Father’s will. From feeding thousands to healing the sick to giving his life on the cross for every soul.
Yet Jesus endorsed the paying taxes and respecting those in authority. He then told one of his disciples to go fish. In that fish was the coin to pay the tax for the two of them, God provided a way.
Like the little boy with the food, Christ multiplied the fish and loaves of bread to feed thousands of hungry. He makes a way for the individual, he makes the way for all.
To me all of us putting a little in cares for many. It just takes one like the little boy and many were fed.
So in Freedom HealthShare we have Liberty to help each other. Our strength is in our members who come together for a greater good.
