Trust in the Christian Healthcare Ministry | Freedom Healthshare Blog
Published: June 29, 2019

Honesty according to Billy Joel, is a lonely word. I’ve got another lonely word for you to consider, and it is trust. Trust in the Christian Healthcare Ministry, Freedom Healthcare.

In the era of fake news, 24 hour news cycles and feeds, along with partisan reporting from both sides, it is increasingly hard to know who or what to trust.

Beyond something being ‘too good to be true,’ we have become skeptical of just about everything while at the same time, closing ourselves off to new opportunities or a different way of doing things.

I joined Freedom Healthshare this year, and I’m glad I did. Here’s the truth, it works differently from traditional medical insurance, in fact this is not insurance at all. My unfamiliarity with it early on, despite being a paying member, made me wonder if this process can be trusted. What I discovered was a new way, with trust being the underlying value. In that discovery I was able to take a more active role in the control of my health. This allowed me to be more comfortable with the processes that I had not truly paid attention too earlier.

A study was done recently with the end-point being to see whether people would return a lost wallet that they happened to find. Interestingly enough, the majority did work hard to get the wallet returned. The more money found in the wallet, the more likely the wallet was returned. I’ve come to believe that when the stakes are high, people do the right thing. As we care and share for the needs of others, we have to put ourselves in a place where we can be found trustworthy when the stakes are high.

If you are considering health-sharing, then you need to look long and hard at Freedom Healthshare, a Christian Healthcare Ministry. They will answer your questions and they will take the time to help you rethink how you can take care of yourself and your family medically through health-sharing. Honesty may be a lonely value, as is trust, but I hope that you will consider trusting Freedom Healthshare to provide for you.

Grace,
